im with chris. ive never had a civic, but i had a 280zx with a 2.8L straight six that ive towed other cars with (big cars) with no problems. im sure your civic will do just fine with a few hundred pounds of extra weight.

When backing a trailer -- Move the BOTTOM of the steering wheel the way you want the trailer to go - period.

Kendon trailers are great, but not as light weight as you might think. They are very sturdy, and designed to carry big harleys (or anything else).
If you want a true lightweight trailer, go to Harbor freight.
