The best motorcycle riding in the entire midwest region is in northwest Arkansas. Ride there.
It's not a hard ride from Houston at all.

Just came back from southeastern Pennsylvnia, southeastern Ohio and my old standby WV. I was really impressed with the ride from Harrisburg to Morgantown WV. My Tom Tom Rider was set to pick the Hilly Curvy Route.
