Glad your ok man. You had me worried when I cam through the turn and crossed a couple on Harleys going the other way pointing franticly in your directions. I looked in my mirrors and no SV Mike or Flying Scott !!!humm this can''t be good. Made a U turn. I sure was glad to see both of you walking and ok.

Other than that Flying scott found out he is not allegic to wasps and that I am one lucky as well (left my cell on top of the ice machine at a gas station).

Jamie post the other pics man!

Glad your okay man, the bike doesnt look that bad you probably hurt your pride more than anything glad the bike was ridable hope you fix what you have to soon....

[QUOTE=SVmike;685657]Other than some soreness I'm fine.
Went for a ride with BigComfy and flyingScot on the Northside. I don't know what road we were on but it was an easy left curve where I had a brain fart. I was told we were traveling around 70mph at the time. I screwed up by not getting my off the seat, letting my eyes fixate on the outside edge of the road, and letting off the throttle allowing the bike to run wide.
Of course while my body was doing all of this, the voice in my head was screaming WTF ARE YOU DOING?! LOOK THROUGH THE TURN, GET ON THE GAS AND LEEEEAAAAAN!!!!! So with that I stood her up and got on the front brake:BangHead:. Made it about 110 feet in the ditch before being bucked off the angry bike. Felt like someone pulled the ejection handle... "oh wow i'm flying through the air. Oh here comes the ground."
I was wearing full gear and by the time I was thrown off the bike my speed had dropped to around 20mph or so. Thankful that I didn't find out what was at the end of the ditch where a driveway was located. Could have been a metal culvert or something of the sort.
Bike only has minor damage which allowed us to continue the ride for another 100 something miles.
Jamie took some pics and should be posting them soon. Here are some I took in the garage.

Just to get it out of the way: Yes I have taken MSF. Yes I have a M endorsement. Yes I attend trackdays. No we were not riding at "jimmy speed"

Well let me be the first to tell you that getting on the gas will make the bike want to run wide. If you want to turn more then let off the gas, NOT get on the gas like you said.
Well now I'm confused. It seems every time I let off the gas I run wide. I've also had a handful of people tell me the reason for my running wide is because I let off the throttle too much. I know getting on the throttle too much will pull the bike wide as well. When I say I let off the throttle I mean completely let off.

Off topic - Anybody know if the Arai/Suomy group purchase is still going on b/c I just checked my helmet and the liner has been compressed.

I can squeeze you in. PM Moody.

Sounds like when you're rolling off the throttle you're overlaoding the front tire causing it to push.
Are you still running the 120/60 profile?
What's your tire pressure?
