this is what he sent me!!

Hi,

I received your email regarding my r6. The bike is in perfect condition, with no scratches or damage on it. My bottom dollar is $4,800 and shipping charges are included. The bike had to be a present for my brother as he loves this very much, but he did not enjoy it as he died in a car accident 1 week ago. It brings very bad memories for me, so here it is, I want to get rid of it as my mother also cannot stand looking at it. All the manuals and the original documents are included. You will receive this along with all the papers and receipts that you need to register it in your name. The title is clear and i'm the owner. I'm located in Detroit MI. The bike will be shipped from here and i will ship it first. Shipping will be done via UPS second day air freight and it will take no more then 2 days. I have a friend at UPS who will manage me a low price shipping and I will pay the shipping charges and ship the bike first. When I will ship it, I will declare it as a gift so the bike can be delivered directly to your address.
The most important thing is that I am affiliated to UPS, I have a UPS purchase protection account for $8,000 and I assume you know what this means.
The financial part of this deal will be manage by them.. In case you do not like the bike or you are not satisfied, you have 30 days from reception date to request a refund and they will refund your money.
Anyway, I have to let you know that I want a fast deal so if you are really interested in buying the bike, please reply with the following info so i can open a case with UPS and pay the shipping charges:

- Your full name
- Your shipping address

I'll be waiting for your reply

I've seen this same scenario posted on another forum this year. Same story about the brother and mother not wanting to see the bike.

Scam.

One week after his brother died: seriously doubt they would turn around and sell his bike that quick. I wouldn't trust them.

Reply back to him and tell them you have a relative local and would like to inspect the bike first.

Then see what kind of reply you get...

LOl the only way he could ship a bike via UPS was if it was 1:10 die cast model.

This is definitely a scam.
