favorite roads?

i have been super lazy today. the weather is nice, but i havent felt like getting out and going for a ride. it's my day off... i've just been OFF.

i'm looking at maps, looking for fun roads.
around me, i have 149 and everything in the forest. those are well known and all, but i also have a short little fun road closer to me. mount moriah road.
https://www.google.com/maps/dir/30.4...ef17db!1m0!3e0
it's not even 4 miles, but it's a lot of fun with good turns and smiles at lower speeds.

then there's old dobbin/plantersville roads
https://www.google.com/maps/dir/30.3...d30.365699!3e0
nothing too spectacular other than one really nice s turn and a wooden bridge, but it's a fun way to kill around 10 minutes.

anyone have some nice roads to share? i'd like a reason to get off my and go have fun. as i stated earlier, i'm being super lazy today. just cant get the lead out.

CR 42. Not that it's on your side of town, but it fits in with your "fun little road" theme.

I think you are thinking of a different 42. This one is off 521 and goes to 1462. On the south side near Rosharon and Brazos Bend State Park.

Did it Saturday morning with about 150 Harleys on the Fallen Heroes ride to LaMarque.

Like others have said, you must be thinking of the wrong road. This one is full of turns and is in a tree tunnel

Heads up, you're not getting the finger from the locals because you're the only sportbike rider to bomb that road.

Dobbin Dacus

Try this little loop via 1486 Northbound:
From 105 and 1486 (Dobbin), go north on 1486
Right on Johnson Road (Dacus) and over RR tracks
Right on 1097

Watch out for flooding right after RR tracks.
Nice wild game farms.
Watch out for kids and hidden driveways.

My bad,
After turning right on Johnson, turn left on Bethel.
Then turn right on 1097.

Johnson goes straight thru, Bethel is a nice detour.
