BSB 2016 Championship standings after Brands Hatch Indy

Leon Haslam leads with Shane Byrne 3points adrift

BSB 2016 Championship standings after Brands Hatch Indy

LEON Haslam heads up the Championship standings after the usual two races at the Brands Hatch Indy Circuit on Sunday whilst Shane 'Shakey' Byrne closes in after a race two win.

After winning race one Haslam remains at the top of the tables, but with a race two win Byrne is now only 3-points adrift of the returning rider.

Christian Iddon has been forced down to third whilst Richard Cooper is up to fourth after two great races. After technical issues Michael Laverty is down to fifth for the Tyco BMW team with 66-points whilst Jason O'Halloran is following closely behind with 62-points.

After a disappointing race two and a great race one, James Ellison is currently seventh with 60-points for the JG Speedfit Kawasaki team whilst Peter Hickman is eighth and 10-points behind the Kendal rider.

The next race takes place at Knockhill after the Isle of Man TT period on the 26th June.
