Hwy 39 and 1340 are a lot of fun. 1340 is a river road and has a lot of low crossings and gravity stuff. Not to mention there is the Stonehenge is right off of 39. You can make a loop out of it.

39 to 187 south and then up 16 to Kerrville and/or 1340 loop...

674 between Rocksprings and Bracketville is badass

Lots of decreasing radius turns

Not very. Lol. The first half of that road sucks, anyway. Check your PMs.

39 and 16 are good as well.

335, 336, 337, 39, 187, & 16 are the main good rods in that area.

Other than that just a bunch of sweepers. More good roads heading to Austin.

Not sure how good you know the sisters but a lot of people mess it up cause there not familiar.( 335 turn off gets missed a lot). Pm me if you want my ride map.

1340 is good. That's where I do most of my quick rides. About 45/60 minutes out to Rock Springs from kerrville depending on your route.

Thanks for all the suggestions...seems like the 39, 16, 337 area will be great...we stayed in Hunt last time and ended up riding 39 most of the time and really enjoyed it...weather is iffy if we even get to ride...

I agree with everything said above. There's even some nice routes on my side of town if you come down this way, maybe I'll be in town for the weekend

Do you have a GPS and software that you can load GPX files?

I can send you some routes.
