This guy is so cool. LA motorcycle cop. Shows what he considers safe lane splitting and strategies to avoid becoming a caualty.

How is it that California has more freedom than TX?

That being said, I have started to split sometimes. Usually only in dead stop traffic. Have not done it up to a stop light yet. That is next. Maybe. I could see people getting more upset with that.

Unless you're going to be stuck through several cycles, I wouldn't split at a stop light.
