WSB 2016 Championship standings after Sepang

The WSBK paddock are now heading to the UK for the seventh round

WSB 2016 Championship standings after Sepang

IT IS Jonathan Rea who remains at the top of the Championship standings after two races in Malaysia, but Nicky Hayden has shot up after his race two win.

257 points set Rea ahead of the rest with Ducati's Chaz Davies 42-points adrift in second. Rea's team-mate Tom Sykes is in third whilst Michael van der Mark sits in fourth with Davide Giugliano in fifth.

Hayden is now sixth in the standings after his race two victory with Jordi Torres 13-points behind, but he is then ahead of Britain's Leon Camier by 30-points. Fellow Brit Alex Lowes is then a further 3-points behind Camier in ninth. Lorenzo Savadori rounds out the top ten.

The next round takes place in two weeks' time at Donington Park in the UK.
