go cart track time for bikes?

maybe this isnt a houston thing, but i have seen lots of videos on youtube of people with smaller bikes, like groms, minis, and such, on go cart tracks. does anyone here actually do that? i'd love to some time, but i am ignorant country folk. the only track i know of near here is TWS (Texas World Speedway) in the navasota/bcs area.

anyone know of anything in the north houston or conroe area, where you can just take your bike on it and play? the only go cart track i know of around here is at incredible pizza. it's a small oval, it sucks so much, the carts are slow, certain i couldnt bring mine onto the track, and whatever.

not long after i bought my d390, ktm started a promotion to pay for your track days or something. i forget the details. sounded amazing though.

i would like to get into doing track days. i think TWS (Texas World Speedway) is the only track near enough to me for it to make any sense to ride to. what would i need to do to get into this? i'm not looking to race, but just ride around on a track. do i need to safety wire the bike and buy track leathers, or what? i dont care if the questions i ask seem stupid, lol. i'd like to get into this without spending a small fortune

Look on the tracks website for their schedule. Find a date that works for you and which organization is running track days that day. Go to their website and read their bike/rider requirements. It really is common sense.
