napoleon mirrors/ favorite bar ends?

i have some fleabay generic bar end mirrors on my duke 390. the child who put them together in the sweatshop did a good job, but i want a better view. i saw a picture of the rc213v recently and fell in love with those mirrors. after a quick look online, i found them, at one of a price, over $1000! that's a discounted price, too!

i have seen napoleon mirrors before, but hadnt really given them any consideration. the placement of the mirror seems pretty ideal though. a few inches above and in front of the hand. should be a better view than my current bar ends.

has anyone used them? are they worth getting? i like having good rearward visibility. i dont know how someone could even ride on more than 2 lanes without mirrors.

rc213v mirrors. look at that cockpit!

napoleon mirrors/ favorite bar ends?
her cockpit view is probably pretty good, too. these are regular napoleons, minus about $1000 of the cost of the rc's mirrors.

i try to keep my head on a swivel, and i will usually go a few mph faster than surrounding traffic, but i have picked up too many dead bodies while i worked with a funeral home, to not worry about drunk drivers flattening me. i like to be able to see behind me while i'm looking ahead, and i dont have skulley helmet money.

napolean mirror

I have a napoleon that i took off a 919 ... all you need is one and you will be A OK ... i have crg arrows on my ZK ... the Nap gives a better rear view ... if you go with the arrows you'll need 2 for a decent rear view .. you might want to check out Oberons .. excellent quality but $$$

i couldnt find anything about oberons. the name sounds familiar, but google has failed me.

Man, those look pretty slick. I like how they go down and forward and keep the tops of the bars open. I just use cheap (~$15) 3" round bar end mirrors from amazon. They stick out a bit, but I can see everything behind me.

i have those, too. amazon said it's a convex mirror, but you really cant tell. my to git list keeps getting stuff added. i need the sw motech rear rack, and the ktm power parts crash bars, and... i dont know... there was something else, lol.
oh yeah, i want to do a power commander, or other ecu upgrade. i heard that can do a lot to fix the jumpy throttle.

ram mounted mirrors! that's a good idea.

i rode around for a couple of hours with the napoleons on and i really like them. my clutch lever liked to stick against my left mirror, which was just no bueno. when i got home, i chopped off the tip of both levers. still waiting on my adjustable levers to come. they got shipped on the slowest boat in china.
