Battery tenders

I just got a new battery and I want it to last. I have a cheap battery tender that's good for charging a dead battery but it doesn't have an auto shut off so I can't leave it connected all the time. I'm looking for one that I can leave connected and not worry about overcharging.

Any suggestions? What do you use?

Does your charger has these 2 settings? If you perhaps get confused or unsure just take it to Autozone in the morning and pick up ready to go in the afternoon...

Thanks, that is some good info. My battery was charged overnight before I picked it up so it's good for now. I was just looking for something to hook up to the bike while it's sitting in the garage for a while. I think I'll look for that one in the pic bevo posted

Battery Tender brand or the cheapo from walmart.

Mine from walmart has served me well for about 10 years.

There's a Walmart just around the corner from where I live but I really don't ever want to go there again...

No, I'm on the west side but it might as well be any wallmart.

Last time I was looking for a parking spot and a little girl was pushing a cart down the middle of the lane. I waited patiently for her to realize I was there until her dad walked in front of my car and stood there, yelled at her to get out of the way, then he turned and looked at me like I was in the wrong...

I just went lithium after going through a few batteries because I couldn't keep track of my tender. After more than a year I just got a lithium tender and might use it for extended storage. It's really not even necessary at this point...
