Chopper collison during a Chase...

...and what I think personally is a lod of BS...

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19999896/?GT1=10150

The part I have issue with, is where the comment is made about charging the guy fleeing for Chopper pilots and their passengers deaths.

Thats a joke. Charge him for evading arrest and whatever else he did, but you can't charge him for stupid polits not looking where they are flying...

Tragic and sad yes, but EASILY avoidable...especially with two people aboard both aircrafts.

wow, i think they should have more people onboard because the piolt has to do a great deal of work, from flying, to talking on the air, and talking to the other choppers... multi-task to the max right there, i guess the photographer is the one controling the camera and thats it..

it's called causaulity, boy's and girl. if dude hadn;t run nothing woulda happened.

while i particularly don't agree w/ the particular caser that he get charged w/ the 2 copters cuz they were following on their accord and for $ vs the LEO's.

now if a cop had died or civilian in the chase, then yes he should be charged.

just like the last time, you boy's and girls may not agree but the general public does, and when he gets caught he will goto jail for "their deaths"

i agree that if it were police choppers then he should be charged, but it was the news station's choice to send out birds. they didnt have to cover the story but those chose to, it's not really causality becuase they weren't forced to give chase. i don't think the man should be charged with their deaths, but my opinion doesn't matter in court so i guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Aye it's one thing if cops die in pursuit... or innocents in a car etc, are killed injured due to the evader. The evader & his vehicle made no contact with, or had any influence/control over the new copters... The onus for that accident lays on the pilots.
