New Leathers

A BIG thank you goes out to Patrick at Motorcycles Unlimited. He gave me a great price on a new set of Fieldsheer leathers.
My old leathers were OK, but I have been saving for a while and stepped up, and there was Patrick with a good deal.
Thanks you're a good man!

I envied you guys with the flex, rufus. I can only afford the revo.
Good thing is that it protected me at 100mph crashed without rashes. Bad thing is that I goes through 2 suit in one year already.
I guess at that speed even the high end suit would be shredded, right?

not always, each crash is diff. but higher end suits have better (sometimes thicker) leather.

The leathers are really nice. Your going to love the perforations. I couldn't believe what a difference they make. How do these compare to other leathers? Are they toward the top of the line, middle road?

The specs is always 1.2-1.4 thickness in cowhide. I don't know why Brazil cow is always in the play. I know that higher end suit will take a lot of torchure to tear the suit apart. I have seen the Komodo FX and it has twice as many stitches as my cheapy revo and the threads is made of Kevlar. You do pay for what you get. For now, Revo is all I can afford.
