New ez tag

Anyone got a new one? It's a new long cube with Velcro sticky tabs. Anyone just keep it in your pocket or must mount to bike? I have no wind screen so location will be a challenge

Possible mounting too...

It is a high fequency unit and can be mounted in a saddlebag or like on my bike in the glove compartment. Put it wherever you want. Under the seat or your jacket is fine.

Sweet. Thanks. I'll put under the seat. Easy enough to get to and will stay secure, and hidden!

Mine stays in the garage. They scan the plate, see it's attached to my account and bill like normal.

bingo! I have one. It's in the top of my toolbox in the garage (I think). If they can read the plate then they can bill me. If they can't read it......free toll!

New ez tag

Keep an eye on your bill from HCTRA if you ride through HOV lanes. METRO charges through them, and I suddenly got tapped this month for using the I-45 HOV to the tune of $6.50, each way, daily. On my bike. Now I'm in the midst of forms and approvals to get back $$$ for what is an allowed, free use for motorcycles. They admitted it is their wrong, but it is still a time+paperwork journey for you to get it off your bill.
