Rockets hope to extend series vs. Curry-less Warriors in Game 5

The Rockets are hoping to stay alive in the NBA playoffs as they take on the Golden State Warriors without Stephen Curry in Game 5 Wednesday night.

Houston is down 3-1 in the Western Conference first round series.

Sunday Curry slid awkwardly to the court while defending on the last play before halftime and immediately grabbed his knee. He got up and looked to have trouble putting weight on it before jogging with a limp to the locker room. He came out with the team after halftime, but sat on the bench for most of the warmup time. After talking with coaches, he returned to the locker room.

The Warriors announced he would be out at least two weeks.

The Warriors, who set an NBA record with 73 wins in the regular season, eliminated the Rockets in the Western Conference Finals last season.
