so hey, yeah, i got the duke 390 today

so far, i've only put 41 miles on it, but i found some nice roads along the way. the seat is very hard. i like the way the engine feels. you have to let the clutch out about a mile before it engages.
i really like this bike so far. i'm about to order a more comfy seat and some adjustable levers.
the mirrors, like any other stock bike mirrors i have used, are a joke. bar ends at the answer.
i'm also looking for a good windscreen. the ktm touring screen isnt much more than the little thing that comes on the bike. for those who have not seen the stock "windscreen" on the ktm duke 390, imagine a pringles can lid folded.

if you have any questiones, i'll answer them to the best of my ability.
i've got plans to do adult things tonight, but all day tomorrow i should be riding until i cant feel my , and then 50 miles more.

i dont think i got any discount, but i also forgot to mention it. i think my out the door cost was just around $6000. i got the wheel and tire protection for i think 4 years. if i use it once for a wheel (i have heard complaints about breaking the 390's wheels) i will pay for itself. if i get 2 tire chances, it's paid for, too. no deductable. i feel like i got a good deal.

yeah, man. i sold the nonjette for 1700. the guy asked what i wanted for it. i said i posted the ad for 1800, but i was willing to take less, and said i'd be cool with 1500. he went ahead and gave me 1700. helluva guy. my best craigslisting ever.

i'm up to 85 miles on the bike now. i decided to go ahead and ride 2 up with my lady friend, to her old friend's 80'th bday.

i think it's a combination of the cinder block seat and her not being used to riding on the back of a bike, but my back and hurt. she kept leaning on me. i might have to dump her. THAT'S A JOKE. haa.. haaaah

solracer, yeah, i knew they were sponsors, but i thought it was just for parts or something. ... i wonder what kind of deal i would have gotten. dang.

i want to stunt it too... maybe just a little. i have no clue how though.

i did pop a few little wheelies riding it home though feels great to be back on a good bike. feels even better to have a bike that i am the first owner of, and have put all of the miles on.

it's a big might because that seat is uncomfortable, and my comfy seat wont be in until i think the 3rd through the 5th.

The KTM ergo saddle is well worth the money! Vagabond makes a neat answer to the tail tidy question. Hope you have better luck with the radiator fan than a lot of us.
