I wear leather but some of the guys ride in street garb from time to time. It's not my skin so whatever you are comfortable with.

Looks great.

Let me know how you like the front end compared to the original. I hate the damned drum brakes!
One piece of advice... You may want to reinforce the frame somewhat, because it flexes like a on the road tracks. I busted the welds on my exhaust because of the flex. On mine, I wound up just bolting the pipe at the motor and the tail alone to avoid further repairs.
