Stands/ Oil changes

So I'm cheap and don't want to pay 200+ dollars for a service on my gixxer. Does anyone have any recommendations for bike stands? I figure they'll make it easier to do oil changes, etc. Also just need general advice since this will be the first time I've ever worked on a bike. (I am however technically adept at most things so I don't think it should be too big of an issue.)
Thanks in advance!! :icon_smil

redlinestands, hendil, hardy, and others make good stands. the pit bul stands are alot easier to use and are more sturdier but most do the job just fine. stay away from the off-brand stuff and buy something from a established manufacturer or seller.

I have a Bike Grab for the front wheel; just drive in and get off; it holds the bike vertical and keeps it from rolling.

Then all you need is the rear stand and you're good to go.

Who charges $200.00 for an oil change!?!

We charge $42.50, that's parts and labor and includes lubing / adjusting the chain, checking brakes, tire pressure, adjusting clutch and throttle freeplay, checking charging system, etc.

If you want to do it yourself, i've had good results with Motul 3000 oil and Hi Flow oil filters. For chain lube I like Bel Ray super clean.

We carry all of that and more, don't forget to ask for your MH discount.
