thanks for the warning, but it could have been simplified a bit. . ."don't break the law and you won't be ticketed!" if you and your goon buddies don't have class m endorsements, stay off the streets. If you don't have insurance, you're even more foolish. Lastly, you look almost 40 in your pics, what are you doing riding around with people who act like third graders?

Yea sounds about right. I don't know about you but I don't go around asking to check out the license of every person I ride with. Yes I would hope people would know better but you never know.

so is that your fault or the cops?

i bet 75+% of the bikes on the road could be ticket for something illegal. mine are illegal in some sense. and i know it. and accept that fact. took of the factory reflectors, aftermarket exhaust.

I've seen a lot go "wrong" while riding with the wrong crowd. Tickets, arrests, totaled bikes and even death. I guess i learned to pick my riding buddies the hard way, and i matured as a rider through these images that I will never forget. Hopefully these guys will mature a little with their citations b/c things can always be worse. Sorry for being an a$$, it's just who I am sometimes.

On a lighter note, hopefully his warning will save a few others the hardships he had to endure.

Mine passes state inspections every year without factory reflectors and aftermarket exhaust.

Thanks for the heads up bro even though I’m no where near there.

Try carrying around a print out of the Law in your trunk. If the cop wants to be an a$$hole and BS you, then kindly refresh his memory of what the law states. Works wonders for me. But the key is to not do it sarcastically. Just let him know that you know what your rights are.

Question can they stop you just to check if your bike is stolen? I use to get that a lot.

Completely understandable. I have been known to be a bia at times myself. :laughing6 Lol, but I think this ^^^^ was just what he was trying to accomplish. And I hope the experience itself will teach him to pick better riding buddies.

I don't understand why you should throw the key to the ground? Just turn it off and leave it in the ignition is fine. Cops never ask people to throw the key out when they make a stop. They just want you to turn it off, remove helmet and place it on the handlebar, and stay seated.
