Time to name a turn at COTA: Marc Marquez

If they're planning to name turns at COTA. IMO Marc Marquez has earned the right to be the first one to have a turn named after him. Any suggestion which turn?

Yeah, it's probably appropriate to name a turn after Honda at Circuit of Marquez

Probably the one where he consistently gets his elbow down.

He was passing everyone in turn 15 over the course of all practice sessions. He clearly likes that one.

They could name the front straight "Marquez runway".

How about, "Marquez rules Lorenzo drools and Rossi is 900 years old."

From a Rossi fan here I would say turn 16. But its already nick named the carousel.
Hes always dragging elbow there.

Either that or turn 20... Since hes always been in front winning the race.

Turn 10. This is just after the esses and uphill revese corkscrew. It is the left hander cresting a hill with a blind apex corner heading down to the hairpin before the long back straight.

Standing there Marq is noticably quicker than the others and his bike never stops gaining rpm while shaking and getting unsettled across a bump right at the apex. The others seem to take it a bit wider to avoid this.

It's also one of those corners that you know if somthing went wrong it's going to go wrong big time. Marq powers through it and gains a lot of speed while others seem to hold steady and play it safe.

The only hard thing is to see this on TV just how much he gains there because no one is close enough to compare. You have to stand there to see it.

Pretty sure that was 2015 with his ridiculous last minute sprint to his back up bike only to break the track record and qualify on pole.

Derp, yes 2015 - that is definitely from the pole qualifying lap after the 100m dash. Unreal.

I thought that Motoamerica super bike race 2 was one of the best races. I'm glad Bein sports in covering moto america. I can wait to see the races this weekend at Road Atlanta.
