Not saying someone would do it to get paid. I'm saying if you wanted to waste the police's time, then you anonymously text a tip, the police respond to nothing and spend their days chasing false leads.

The posters stated that they are encouraging people to call/text when they see people illegally riding so the police can respond. If the police respond and yes an arrest/recovery is made then yes there is a reward. But if someone just wanted to jerk the police around then they can now send in false reports.

false reports are nothing new, plus they've confiscated almost 400 bikes and ATVs

I counted 5 in the first 100 and Id put money on it that they were not obtained through legal transactions.

This is different than the motard rides here I promise u that, u might a few run home but ur not gonna have them going up and down the streets, kicking cop cars and riding through parks full of ppl.

Id put money on all of them......

I thought it was a great documentary but its sad to watch in regards to the main character. His surroudings and his "mentors" make it so he doesnt have a chance to get out of the hood.

So... Are there trials happening here, or do the police just seize and destroy someone's property based on an anonymous text message?
