32nd Annual BMOA Rallye, Lake Somerville, TX 5/13-5/15

Hey guys, thought I'd throw this out there. My club (British Motorcycle Owner's Association) is hosting our annual "rallye" coming up in May. While we are a British club, we welcome riders of all makes and models. In addition to our usual Saturday field events (dirt drags, board ride, clothes pin race, barrel push, etc), we're adding sidecar-specific events to our field events, such as barrel racing, which should make for some interesting action.

The rally will be held at Lake Somerville on Friday May 13 - Sunday May 15. It's usually a ton of fun, and if the water level of the lake cooperates there should be a bit of an area where we can play around off-road.

If interested in more information, or to register, visit our website: http://www.bmoaonline.com/rallye.html

The lake looks great now...water level is normal...thats part of our weekend ride route...

If your group wants to take a quick ride around the area let us know...we will be happy to show you around...we live about 5 minutes from the lake...

yeah, if you have a route and time you'd be interested in, I'll make sure it gets passed on. We usually have at least 3 or 4 different groups that go out depending on the pace people want to ride. Unfortunately I'm usually busy with setting up for field events and haven't been able to go out the last couple of years.

If you give me times the groups want to start i can schedule it based on there preference...i can take off fri. also if needed...i will PM you my phone number...your welcome to give it to anyone interested...i can ride any pace but prefer the groups to be of equal experience if possible...i know all the good roads and can make rides as long or short as needed with really good lunch spots also...

I passed your info on to Jamie (59BSA on here), she's coordinating a lot of our rally stuff. As the event is AMA sanctioned, if it's going to be a ride "officially" associated with the rally we'll have to get you (and anyone else going on the ride) to sign a waiver, but I'm sure she'll tell you all the details when she calls. I hope I get a chance to meet you, even if I don't end up getting to ride.

British USA has had a demo bike out there before, wouldn't surprise me if they did again. I honestly can't commit because I have no idea if I will even have mine back by then.

I can't guarantee that wasn't my fault in forgetting to relay information somewhere along the way... either way, sent her a reminder and your number again.
