Riders down at 610 and Memorial

Approx 10pm Tuesday night came upon scene of 2 riders down on 610 west loop heading north. 2 19 yr olds male rider and female passenger full gear on a new Yamaha R3 could not brake in time coming into slow traffic and layed down bike.

Both were alert and oriented. Both with significant road rash but male rider had obvious left hip fracture. This shut down almost all of 610 bc the bike and riders were laying in the across multiple lanes. Both seemed to have no life threatening injuries and should recover

I bet you they were racing up 290 because I heard 2 bikes racing up 290 around 10pm last night, so they got real smart once a girl jumped on the back and decided to see what crashing felt like?

hopefully they heal up and put the bikes away, so that others who put them to good use can make well of.
