Seemed Suspicious

Just wanted to throw this out there. Its mainly for anyone that rides and lives in the Barker Cypress/290 area.

Sitting at a light last night waiting for a left turn I noticed a car brake fairly hard and pull in to the left turn lane behind me. No big deal. It followed me down to the next light and pulled in to the left turn lane behind me again. No big deal. I made the turn and positioned myself in the right lane. He went to the left lane after the turn. Half way down the road he pulled in to the right lane behind me. No big deal. I made my right turn in to the neighborhood and through the guard gate. I looked back and noticed the car did a U-turn from the right lane and went back the way we came from.

I don't know if this was just coincidence or what. It just seemed suspicious.
Anyway, the car was a Mustang. I want to say it was a dark smokey gray metallic color. It was dark out but the illumination from his headlights makes me think the color is in that general description.

I just hope its not someone out following us around so they can catch us in our driveway or come back later and walk off with our bikes.

I'm pretty sure I was being followed to see where my bikes was parked. I didn't go home. Instead I took them for a trip around town for a bit then lost em

That's what I plan to do if I see the same erratic behavior from a mustang driver again. LOL Mostly because I would be curious to see how far they follow me.

LOL. I haven't even made the first payment on the Interceptor yet. I'll wait till I'm ready for something new and different before I try your plan. Although your plan doesn't sound like its working very well.

I'm right at the 290 and barker area. Will keep an eye out for these people. I've had somebody follow me home in my truck before, but it turned out to be one of those body shop scam artists offering to "fix" a dent I had in my truck. almost got shot. Definitely don't let anybody follow you home. They will wait for you to leave then break into the garage and bye bye bike. There was somebody else o. This forum that got their bike stolen from the heb at 290 and barker. May be the same people

If they are in desperate need of a bike I would consider selling them the 250. I'm not putting a new battery in it so they can see that it runs though.

IT'S kind of a joke, but the days of worrying about my bike getting lifted have evaporated. Just not a desired bike, but I do carry theft coverage in case some dirtbag thinks otherwise. I just don't worry about people following me home on my bike anymore. I'm more leary of the lawn crew guys trying to gank my walk behind mower.

Well to be hoenst, because I've been in that situation before either A) looking for something of MINE that was stolen...or B) keeping an eye out for someone else...

What I can say is that there really isn't anything wrong and its perfectly legal for them to "follow" you for a few clicks and sus out whether your bike is missing a plate, spray painted, etc..,etc.. and as someone who's been there before if they were doing that I don't blame them.

However following for any other reason than that would be akin to a trespass it's all about intent.
