hehe this thread will be fun but I like ECE more than SNELL. ECE is a great standard to look for in helmets and I personally prefer it, Suomy helmets FTW

Most new full face helmets have all three standards covered.

I think this is a bit of perspective on the U.S. market where the ECE helemets that make it over here are the higher end manufactures.

What you do not see are the ECE helmets approved to the same standard sitting on the shelves over in Europe that you would not wear but only on a scooter and never consider bringing to the track.

By comparison anytime I've seen a SNELL certified helmet anywhere in the world it is somthing I would not mind having at the track.

I just bought a Scorpion EXO-500 Corsica Helmet for $99 that meets ECE, SNELL, and DOT standards.
