Lifeflight @MSRH

I saw a post on FB that someone was Life Flighted. Send prayers for whoever that is, I'm sure they need it.

Last I heard was that the rider was ok and the flight was precautionary, not sure how credible the source is though.

I asked the paramedic directly and he told me the rider was going to be ok.

Many crashes yesterday. I was only able to ride 5 sessions the entire day not including round robin and out of this 5 sessions I think only a couple we ran without any incidents.
Prayers for the injured rider and wishes of a speedy recovery!

There was an unnecessary lifeflight last time at MSRH as well. The guy did a bigass write up about it

It's a long read but long story short:

OP got hurt, EMTs made a judgement call about the severity of the injury, after lifeflight arrives at the trauma center it is discovered the severity is not as bad as initially thought.

EMT's trying to rid themselves of liability by calling Life Flight. Seems to be a regular occurrence at MSRH.

Thank for Obamacare. Everyone is supposed to have insurance...

Glad that the guy is no so critical as the helicopter ride would indicate. Broken lag sux though.

It was pretty good day. Crashes seemed to take for ever to clear up. I understand the life flight one, but the other minor ones ... hmmm .... I managed to get 6 sessions in. I don't know if there was another one at the end. I started packing after L3 got red flagged for the above incident and left by 4:30.

I am honestly surprised someone didnt wipe out at the start of the level 2 session following the lifeflight incident. That's usually what happens.

There were a lot less riders. A bunch of people went home and on top of that I didnt even hear any announcement for the last session I just saw people getting on the track and I got with the program.
