Finally back on two wheels

Hello,

So a few years back when I got married, I had to let go of my 06 R6. (Mother-in-law demanded it). I've regretted giving into that she-demon since the minute I handed the keys to the next owner.

Anyhow, about 3 months ago I stumbled across a 1978 Honda CB400 being sold for $300. I've always wanted to try a restoration project so decided to give it a shot. I picked her up and one thing led to the next, and now here I am looking for advice and to share my build. Hopefully by this August I'll have her back to her former glory and will see some of you on local rides.

Welcome, those she-demons can be rough to deal with. Good luck with the build.

Holy dude you got punked hard by your MIL.

Glad to hear you're getting back in the game though!

Thanks for the welcome guys.

I started a thread on my rebuild project.
http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=333799

I'm planning to modify the bike into a cafe racer/bobber type thing.

Planning on going to Euro Bike Night at Oak Forest Chill within the next couple weeks to get some ideas and advice, if it's still going on.
