Freedom MX

Their grand opening is this week (the old Highlands track, redone).. Nice to see one closer to home, looks like they redid the track and the dirt looks pretty good (in the video)

Will have to check it out. Sounds like it could be worth a Sunday. Ultimate is the usual spot for me

We will probably go Sunday, in lieu of Rio.

Would be the first time this year I get a chance to take the 450 out. Hopefully the weather stays nice

Nice and it looks like the weather will hold out for the next week at least ... But with Texas, it's never a guarantee

Did You go?

Did you make it out to Freedom MX? It looks like they put a lot of effort into the track and parking area. Just curious to hear how the condition of the the track was?

Track layout is awesome, no big berms just flat off camber corners. Dirt is good and makes some good ruts in the corners.

When we went, they were having issues with the water truck and they were having to water the track with several hoses so it was pretty dusty but the track is nice and wide and like you said, a lot of off camber corners.
