just a suggestion

perhaps you should put the 2 minute edit feature back. now i know EXACTLY why you guys put it there. its a bit irritating to read through a thread only to see people retract their posts and edit them to say "deleted" instead, and its getting really out of hand, worse than ive ever seen on any message board. say what you mean and leave it at that.

It's been off for awhile now. 2 minutes is a wee bit on the short side, 10 maybe?

In all honesty, a little tougher moderating would go a long way too IMO.

Precisely why?

Offhand, I know of one thread that one poster had 2 deleted...and I believe they asked a mod to do it, it wasn't a timer.
I had one I made, then removed... I think think the editing option was fine, there was a section that asked for the poster to input why they edited.
