Jeesus Christ on a stick...

OK, just for starters there have been deaths from people talking on their phone and WALKING into things. Not driving, not operating pieces of machinery, not necessarily even chewing gum at the same time. And, repeat, dead - funeral, burial, emotional devastation to the family and survivors, thousands of dollars (or tens of thousands).

If it's more dangerous to talk or text while driving a car than it is to walk, then what's the MOST dangerous thing to do while on the phone? How about operate a piece of machinery in public, allowing you to move at high rates of speed, and that vehicle has to be balanced on two wheels where even one mishap can send you flying to your death while endangering the lives of others? Oh, and this machine is smaller and harder to see, so you have to keep your eyes peeled at all times while riding.

Account for the flip side, and:

- one of the most dangerous activities to mix with talking and texting is riding a motorcycle, and

- one of the dumbest things to mix with riding a motorcycle is talking on the phone or texting

Whoever invented this should get a new job as a crash-test dummy.
