And now you understand why I don't "group ride". WAY too many problems, then someone gets hurt and everyone starts to point fingers.

Soon hopefully. I just hate slabbing all the way out there alone so I always try to bring someone out with me... Schedules haven't been lining up recently.

my old group was able to cruise and blast like a flock of birds...good understanding of eachothers riding traits and formation happened naturally.

throw in some whack squids and it felt like impending doom.

Mmmm.
Maybe there should be a squid ride posted.
Take pics of the ones that show up for that specific ride and put them on a "ride at own risk with these squids" list.

Lol

Or tell me when and where the ride is so i can go picnic on some food curves with my camera. Hehe

Keith ,

I'm almost done handling all my parents leftovers , getting the house on the market in the next month or so .

I'll be ready to have some fun finally .

I've rode with you and Karen and have had nothing but fun and good eats .

You tell me where I fit in as to not ruin everyone else's day .

You will know the squids. They will show up without full gear, bikes with no mirrors, shinko tires, etc. I'm planning on posting a ride soon that starts on the SE side of town and anyone that shows up like that is just gonna' be asked to leave. I'm not gonna' leave anyone dying in a ditch if they go down, and frankly I don't want to have to wait for someone else's mistake. It's one thing if a responsible rider who you can tell cares about safety goes down--absolutely no problem doing absolutely anything and everything I can for them. But the squids who show up and you can tell "ride your own ride, I am not responsible for your safety" goes in one ear and out the other... nah. Show up to just about any public Facebook ride if you wanna see the squids.

I'm saying that a lack of gear usually indicates squid. You're not a squid, you're just slow.
