max. sorry about your baby! hurts me to see the bike like that! good luck trying to get the officers to help you. as nice as they were they usually have a pretty close relationship with the wreckers and rely on them daily.

I WOULD DEFF CALL THE HPD AND TALK TO THE OFFICER THAT ARRESTED YOU AND THEN SHOW HIM THE PICS AND ASK IF THIS IS MINOR AS STATED ON THE IMPOUND SHEET, THEN ASK IF HE WILL GO TO COURT WITH YOU IF IT COMES TO THAT,

MY OP THAT IS NOT MINOR, AND IF IT LOOKED LIKE THAT BEFOR IMPOUND IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NOTED IN THE REPORT !

DEFF CALL HPD!

+1 ON THE DOING HIS JOB THING BUT SOME TOE TRUCK DRIVERS COULD BE A LITTLE NICER TOO, AND IF THEY DID KEEP BANGING UP CARS I AM SURE THEY WOULD NOT GET TO MANY JOBS, SO IT WOULD BENIFIT BOTH PARTYS INVOLVED!

DEFF CALL HPD!
I called the HPD substation that the two officers work at and was told to give the station a call tonight during their shift. Hopefully these guys can vouch for me, it will give me good ammo to use against the tow company.
Wish me luck, this is going to be a long and painful battle it seems

Oh yeah, I haven't raised my voice or used one bad word in talking with parties involved. This issue needs the handled with absolute professionalism and respect, if I want to go any where with it. Stomping my feet and yelling wont get me anywhere fast. A common mistake I'm sure may have made dealing with such problems..

a tow truck driver once told me that the towing companies nearly always take any damage out of the driver's pay instead of putting it on their insurance and raising the premium...
so he said thats why drivers will usually die before they admit that they did any damage, even if its obvious.

I was following a rollback with a brand new looking custom harley on it in virginia and he hit a bump going around a turn and the harley tilted back and forth real hard, then the back wheel started to walk across the bed (only had straps on front) and it fell over, real hard, and then slid across the truck and almost fell off.
I was behind him on my gsxr and I slowed down, afraid it was going to fall in front of me, and the driver pulled off so I pull off behind him. The tank was dented in, the handlebars were bent, the mirror was knocked off, scratches all up and down the side it fell on, the whole bike was ****ed up. he ran his hand through his hair and looked like he was gonna cry (dunno, might have been his bike for all I know).
I took off.
