Re: Anyone delt with Eximports?

It's been recommended several places but buy your first bike as cheap as you can (good running condition, not junk) with CASH. Even though it wasn't my first bike, I still payed cash. Too many stories out there of guys just getting that nice new bike home from the dealer to wake up the next morning and it was gone.

Whichever route you decide to go, since your a new rider, get the FULL coverage. Shop around for insurance as all places seem to quote a little differently. I'm assuming you've taken the MSF so you will get a discount for that too.

I went yesterday to mount a tire and noticed that their inventory was pretty low. I guess they been selling like crazy with summer being here.

If you are going to ex-import, go the last day of the month, have your financing or cash allready in hand, and you can bargain the bike down like crazy.
I got a 2004 r6 with low miles for right at 6 with ttl.

It took an hour and a half to do it, and I got up several times and got rid of the free oil change and detail (which I can do myself) and walked out with a clean bike under what private sellers retail it for

Re: Anyone delt with Eximports?

last I heard their used sportbike inventory was low......peak riding season I suppose. Ask about their financing, that seems to be the main topic going on....ask what the requirements to get approved are

well you can't blame a dealer that let's people ride even if they don't have great credit.* tha'ts more than a person can say about loads of other dealers.* the use bikes are pretty high but it's up to you to get the best bike possible out of what they have used.*
oh was it? i started watch moto racing on speed after i got my bike so i didnt know who he was at the time. i am familiar with his name now but i usually just watch motogp. rossi just needed another ten laps today (wishful thinking).

Re: Anyone delt with Eximports?

i bought my first bike from them and learend my lesson. Prices are too high and service sucks. Dropped off my bike on flat for them to fix and picked it up on flat. Now thats good mechaninc work. right: Not to mention the countless stories and personal bad experiances with there company.

2 cents.

Re: Anyone delt with Eximports?

I went by there today, the sales rep had no good info. I dont know a whole lot about bikes, but im not a bike salesman. They got some new bikes in. the only one I liked was an 03 blue r6 with 2800 miles. They want 7999 for it! Its clean, but not that clean. It wasnt even worth checking out the financing. I did ask him what the qualifications were he said the same as any other dealership. Sorry not a big help. They had a lot of GSXRs. Its a good looking shop though.

They ask 7999 for all their 600ss pretty much, Just talk them down. Bring it a copy of NADA stating the value of the bike and work from there.
