Apparently the clutch got stuck and release causing the looping on that endurance bike.

Buffington Homes rider did that, he said he tried to slip the clutch but his glove got caught. He also went back out on the B bike and low sided two turns into the first lap on cold tires. He knew they were cold and thought he was tip toeing, but it tucked and that was that.

With all that being said, those two guys are badasses, they run the entire race with just 2 guys, and they are fast. Just shows you stuff can go wrong even when your at the top of your game.

Guy looping the R1 was rediculous, I was speechless when I first saw the footage.

Yeah, but practice makes perfect, and one mock race start is not much practice. Y'all have fun

Yup! And guess what? He came from the CMRA before that. Not saying we all will get there, but the CMRA does have the potential to make world class racers.

The point is they took steps to get to the top class. Did the "racer" on the R1M qualify on a 250 first?

Yep. That gives all of us all that little glimmer of hope, that someday, we will be kicking Marquez off his bike.

Nope. Just like a 16yo isn't required to drive a 4 banger Eco box to get their drivers license.

No, but minors under the age of 16 can only be licensed (TDL) to ride a motorcycle with no more than 250cc piston displacement.

There is an area set up for practice starts on Friday practice. I try to use it a few times during the day just to get some repetition. First race of the day when nerves are more on edge is usually my worst start though.

It's unrealistic to expect someone to buy a completely different bike to compete on in a club organization. If this were motoamerica, he would be forced to start in 600 superstock no matter what he raced in a club.

Well if he can afford a R1M, he could probably afford a used 250
