My scorpio was about $250 with myself installing. I think the lojack is abit over $500 + install. etc.

This is the type of stuff you learn about with a tracking/paging alarms system that you would never know about otherwise. I was at the mall, left the Busa outside just under the walkway on the sidewalk while I ran in to grab a gift card for my daughter's upcoming birthday. I get the call from the Phantom tacking center asking me if I am with my bike... I tell the girl nope, I am inside the mall. She informs me that she received an alert, but the bike has not moved from its location, it had just been raised off the kickstand to an upright position. I tell her I am across the mall from the bike and she dispatches the police while I am on the phone with her.

I'm now running through the mall like O.J. Simpson at the airport (you old timers will know what I'm talking about) trying to get to my BABY!! I get to the entrance at the same time the local cops roll up and see a guy sitting on my bike with his girlfriend taking pics with a cellphone!!! :BangHead:

I disarm my bike and ask the guy to get the away from it as the cop walks up and asks me to calm down. I thank the cop for the quick response and he tells me that the call came up as a emergency priority on his computer monitor as he was the closest to the originating position. Pretty kewl I think!!

So... it makes me wonder how many times I have not been around my bike and someone has gotten on it or acted like it was theirs for pictures. Has anyone else caught someone doing this?
i've caught someone doing it when the pager for my alarm went off.

I've caught several. and took at the guys for a ride as well. i learned it was more fun to turn the Scorpio to Silient and sneak up on them and scare them. most of the times they are wearing shorts and my engine is still 200 F' so just turn the alarm on and then they get scared and touch the frame and instant backed Inner knees. LOL. i only had to fight one dude off ( hobo) every one else was embarresed. i stood their and took a pic with them LOL.

but the motion sensor goes a long way. it makes them think twice.

man that system is hot i think i'm going to get it for my new bike once i sell this one.

That's crazy. I have seen people take pics in front of a bike but not actually get on it and pick the kickstand up that's ridiculous. That's like someone with a convertible and you want to hop in to take a quick pic. What the are people thinking these days?

, you can shoot someone if they break into your house. What are the laws for protecting other property?

As for someone sitting on a bike, that could almost be considered theft. You are on someone elses property and whether moving it or what not, you are still on the verge of theft if you ask me. That would be like me leaving my truck door open, and finding someone inside of it. That would be a fatal mistake.

Exactly what I'm thinking!! If I come out and see you on my bike, I am assuming you are stealing it and I will not hesitate in the least bit to stop your !

Oh you could definitely say that!:icon_bigg

So what are we talking price range on this sheer work of genius?
