MSRH, TWS (Texas World Speedway), Cresson and Eagles are the ones I know for sure they allowed for Ride Smart events

Are dogs allowed at the race track?
No, for safety reasons, dogs and pets are not allowed inside TWS (Texas World Speedway).

I've been asked (forced) to leave the track before, by TWS (Texas World Speedway) management, at a Ride Smart track day, because of my miniature Schnauzer. They were not polite either. A friend offered to keep our dog in his RV, management said "No"... We talked to Dave, and that didn't change anything.

This was back in 2010 or 2011, so probably things have changed, but that was my experience. I am glad to see MSRH has it in their rules that you can bring dogs.

I'm going.

I'm very slow. Everybody has their gifts, fine motor skills ain't one of mine. I actually sorta dread it a little but I know the only way I will get safer on the streets is to train on the track. So don't laugh at me. Aw , laugh all you want... I can take it.

Do not be worried about your pace. The important thing is to learn the line, after that you will gain confidence and the result is faster lap times.

Dont be the guy opening it up in the straights either. Too often those people are trying to compensate for their slowness in the corners and usually it ends up going bad for them.

I'm not worried about pace or lap times, I'm worried about like you said learning the best line and developing my form on the bike.

If you are more concerned with being consistent than you are with being fast, you'll be safer and the seconds will drop off those lap times even easier
