I don't think I understand what you typed, but I might understand the sarcasm intent, so I'll reply thusly:

The track is still INFINITELY more safe than the street.

+ 3

On the street, I probably would've been a statistic. It had been a car t-boning me, while I would've not worn the leathers and no EMT had been there within a minute.

The doctor had said "The helmet and the leathers saved your life" and I believe him.

How many folks do we see on the street that don't even wear a helmet or any kind of good gear?

You sure are judging this guy harshly for making a mistake. Do you know him or something? Have you ever made a mistake?

You can't dispute that it is way safer on the track vs the street.

I am kinda tired of the work mistake being used. Which part was the mistake? Biting off more than he could chew by trying to pass 3 riders in the inside of a turn and target fixating on the third (Patricia) or intentionally breaking the rules (by his own admission) by passing on the inside to begin with. To me that equates to knowingly running a stop sign and getting into an accident. Is that a mistake too? I say no. A mistake would be not seeing the stop sign until it is too late and not being able to avoid an accident.

well I called my insurance and he said it was a iffy thing, he understood its a riders school but there teaching you to use your bike to its limits and is not recommended. He did say that with cars they were not covered and he asumes that it would be the same for a bike.

Unfortunately.
The reason I'm nervous about trackdays and passing in general wthout pacing behind them for a bit to see their lines. Too many inexperienced trying to set the world on fire. Don't need to stuff someone on a track day practice.
