this is where the whole "thin blue line" should stand together and reprimand their own for something that they believe was wrong. It could be said that these are the actions of a single cop and do not reflect the ideas of the whole but by them NOT condemning it, it gives the impression that they do support his actions.

Unfortunately what we have here is another example of the police protecting their own and believing everyone should be held accountable but them. This really harms the image of the "good cops". I just don't understand why they will not stand up for their own, good beliefs and refuse to allow to be lumped in with this bully.
