Well , I guess I'll sell my shares in Honda

Well seeing we want to continue on this path, just throwing out there that the homologated version for WSBK is failry recent, 2014, and Honda have an SP version with some minor improvements to the engine for WSbK. Older than than the rest, yes, but it's not an old bike.

This year though they will be forced into making an updated homologation special as WSBK rukes for next year will not permit them to add ride by wire throttle anymore if not equipped on the homologated bike. So those of you who want a 20,000$ CBR with more electronics will get it, unless we see a new V4 for the street with the goods.

In WSS interesting this year is all rider aids, TC, wheelie control, etc. have been banned. It's taking some adjusting by some other teams, notably MV, but the racing has been really good.

As for riders both Vandermark and Jacobson are really good, and I hope they don't spend huge chunk of their carears on Hondas as Rea did. Consider Guintoli, the last SBK champion before Rea, went to Honda and fell off the map not even a single win or multiple podiums last year. Now he's on a yamaha...Hayden also looking a bit unhappy in the race debriefs over there on the Honda...

What does any of it mean, nothing as it turns out, because that is racing and this was about the most outdated street bikes and the same list could just as well be titled best used bikes, or most reliable, most affordable, highest fun factor, user satisfaction, or just simply the bikes they got right and had no need to change every other year.
