I won't ride it on the streets in the southwest unless u like riding on 1 wheel. It felt way too much to be handled on the streets. Every gear seemed like the bike wanted to jump...trust me I didn't even move my wrist a maybe a little and bike wanted to take off. Apart from twitchy throttle the bike was great...
Sounds good...probably a LOT less expensive on insurance as well...

In the end I prefer the Honda smooth throttle and even power.

90% of riders will agree with your choice........the GSXK & ZK are great but the cbKr can keep up .....don;t let the lack of HP fool you ... for any long trips cb is probably best

Meh you can tone the throttle down by changing the gearing. No big deal. Plus I love wheelies

Today I rode the S1000 with the TC off and the GSXR 1000 in "A" mode. The transition from throttle off to on was rough on the naked bike. The GSXR throttle was smooth like a Honda.

If I could put my clone on the S1000 and race him on my CB1000R, I'd smoke him.

One more thing, the Suzukis at today's Demo Day all had CA tags. I know that Honda makes CA specific models, don't know about Suzuki

Well, I can only speak for my gen 2 Z and '08 Speed Triple- but neither had trouble crossing cattlegaurds, nor did they require special work or have any issues.

Perhaps the new bikes are trash, but the side by side ride reviews beg otherwise.

Perhaps somebody spiked your tea with HRC-koolaid today?
