You guys are all crazy.

The CB1000R is a neutered ! <110rwhp on the dyno.

The Z1000 and GSXixxus whatever absolutely rip the honda. Hands down.

, the FZ-09 destroys it.

The Honda's complete lack of is what removed it from the naked list for me 3 years ago when I bought the S3. There's 600's out there making better power and almost and much torque. : rofl: Then again, it is a Honda.

The new GSX is still neutered compared to a full on GSXR1000, but at 148 crank that will put it solidly in the low to mid 120 rwhp range.
The long stroke GSXR1000 engine is an awesome motor, the brakes and suspension are also well sorted.
I'm curious to see ergonimcas and comfort, but at the purchase price of $9999 Suzuki should have a winner on it's hands.

The comfort is actually better than the CB1000r, thats what keeps pushing me to Suzuki. I never owned a suzuki sport so was skeptical as far the reliability of the engine/transmission.

Now I am really leaning towards the Suzuki.

I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it... That's just me.

You don't need it, until you need it

Is it worth the $$$ if it saves you from a crash?

You can always put that thing back to full power. Geeez just look at the aftermarket parts for the gsxr1000. That thing could be a 180hp monster in no time flat.

Meh, I can outbrake ABS almost any day.
Granted, I've been racing/riding over 40 years, but color me as one who does not care for the "nannies".

So test drove the GSX S1000. Here is how I will rate it...

Awesome bike for those who have ridden a 1000. Very comfortable to ride, the display was great, mirrors where 80% visibility for me. The throttle response. .freakish crazy. I won't ride it on the streets in the southwest unless u like riding on 1 wheel. It felt way too much to be handled on the streets. Every gear seemed like the bike wanted to jump...trust me I didn't even move my wrist a maybe a little and bike wanted to take off. Apart from twitchy throttle the bike was great...
