I'm looking for some older "national electric code" books like from the early 1900's to 1930's can anyone help me out?

Any specific titles or authors you're looking for? Do you know how to look and have exhausted resources, or are you not sure how to begin searching?

This is outside of my experience, but I can't find anything that matches what you're looking for before the 1940's. Seems like a lame question, but was there a national electric code before then? Is the info you're looking for perhaps referenced as something else?

Trying to be helpful, but perhaps I'm just muddling the thing up more. :icon_bigg

it's a book us Electricians follow. the first NEC book came out in 1897 and those are very!!!! rare. I have a little collection from the years 1937, 1962,1970, 1993 , 2002, 2005. I want some from earlier dates like 30's and older. The books title is "NFPA : National Electric Code"
