i'd say close the thread.. its just blah blah blah to him.. this guy seems a bit cocky and seems like he doesn't care... nothing we say matters.. hes smart, hes heard it all... he knows how to ride... come on now.. 17 years under his belt.. u wreck from time to time.. no big deal... its only when some one dies because some idiot whos coming around a turn too quick and smokes a disabled car where there is a father/mother that has a flat tire on the side of the road with their kids in the car... then the rider's mom gets a call to come pick up the body and asks where does she want it? no big deal right?! there are accidents where people get injured and in worst case die because of accidents they can't prevent. but there are accidents that are caused by idiots who don't pay atttention or do stupid on the road that leave others at risk. oo btw.. a yamaha r1 isnt a lawn mower... u gotta lean into it and maybe transfer alittle weight...

Everyone needs to leave him alone. He wrecked. He's sorry. I bet 80% of everyone on here has run throught the Forrest or another public street at breakneck speed.

but 75% of that 80% know how to handle their bikes, and are probably not even riding 100% of their ability.

there's a time and place for everything. the forest has lots of bikes/cars running both directions all day. it would've been a different song if he would've went into oncoming traffic, and killed another biker.

it's inappropriate if you are riding in over your head on the street. KNOW your capabilities, and ride a percentage of it. give it your all on the streets, and KNOW that you might not come home in 1 piece.

Fixed.

Almost Everyone on here ride triple digit on the back road few times before, some learn through other's mistakes, some learn on their own mistakes, some are dead because of their's or other mistakes.
No one on here is giving anyone a hard time just preaching to save lives. Your life, your choice. Just make sure that you pay for your mistakes ALONE.
