WHY do people still insist on hauling thru the forrest?
After all the posts about wrecks, cops, etc thru there and 130MPH?
Good thing he had full coverage insurance and curious to see what his rates are gonna be next time.
To each his own.

looks like a tragic case of "oh , i don't know how to turn this fast, so let's straighten up and go off roading"....

go to a trackday and learn how to ride your bike. we all ride crazy on the streets, but some people have the know-how to make a turn at a higher rate of speed. looks like you just went off without even attempting to make the turn.

you were gonna be fcked anyways, might as well should've attempted the turn.

That was I was thinking.
If you're going into the turn and you're committed to taking it at the entry speed you've already selected, put some trust into your bike/tires and the set-up you've done prior to the morning ride (I'm sure you spent time checking suspension, tire pressure etc... prior to a ride where you know you'll exceed 130mph)
From the photos it doesn't look like the bike had an oprotunity to do what it was built to do. *Rail the corners*

But, what the do I know, I've been crashing out more than Evil Kenneval (sp)

I'm sure he has full cov. and with one look at the pic.....they will total the bike out. I'm very glad he is ok. But, since he has full cov. He will most likely sell it and get another or do something else with the money. If he lets a local shop rebuild it they will rip his off. So I am very interested in looking at it ASAP if possible.

Ahhh ! I forgot how the full coverage thing goes. If they total it out and stroke a check don't they take the bike?

if the insurance totals it out, you have the option to buy it back. MOST of the time, if you buy it back, they will write you a check for cost of repairs. but MOST of the time, you will in turn get a salvage title for your bike. Which means, if you were to insure it again, and something like this should happen AGAIN. they will only pay you 50% of it's worth, because of the salvage title.
