Qualifying @ La Guna Seca!

http://www.motogp.com/en/motogp/moto...mpionship_id=3

I just finished watching the Qualifying session on Speed. Hopper got screwed there at the end. Did anybody see that? Looks like one of a line-up. I had predictions but after watching qualifying it looks like the race belongs to anybody.

Stoner would have this in the bag but he has never ran this track in the front and I think he will fall under the pressure. He will make a mistake trying to keep up a fast pace and run off the track.

I believe the fight is between the 3 Americans this year. Its a safe bet that one of them will podium. I still believe that Hopper and Edwards will give the noobs fits. I'm very disappointed with Hoppers seed. He was robbed IMO. I think he will podium for sure.

I think Verm will be edged out by the Americans.

Fantacy Finish........Way to hard to tell I will get flamed for this one.

What do you guys think.

Checa went wide and blocked his entry into Turn 5, Hopper's Qual Lap was toast at that point. Dorna even fined him for kicking at Checa, which is understandable, it was a little unprofessional. But, at the same time, it makes sense why he did it, not only is he in his home country, but in his home state! Anyways, go Hopper! I am here at the GP, I am going to try and get some of my pics up tonight!

WELL IF I FLIPPED ROSSI AND STONER on my Fantacy Picks I wouldn't have been too far off. I was kinda fullish to not give Stoner any credit all week and then to give Rossi Godly credit at the end lol.

Also it was Hopper fault not Hayen's for the crash. Hopper, should have slowed down and took more lean angle. He probably was afraid he was going to hit somebody so thats why he ran so wide. Racing.... :BangHead:

Hayden couldn't see Hopper......and i was just venting.

Last.... Great job for R Hayden! He should do well next year! I was keeping a close eye on him last couple of days too.

How was that Hoppers fault? Hayden went wide, Hopper took advantage of it and then Hayden leaned on Hopper.

I thought the same thing at first....thats why i was so mad. but then if you think about it. Did Hopper need to make that risk that early in the race? His times were way better than Nicky's all week. Hopper would pass Nicky quick. Also Nicky couldn't see Hopper ever if you look at the replay. So it was on Hopper to make the call IMO.

Also Hopper could have made the turn had he trail braked and leaned more but I think he hesitated if I remember correct.

You've watched MotoGP before right? So you know how incredibly important it is to get a good start. Everyone is trying to scrap up as many positions as possible in the first few corners.

How often do you actually 'see' someone passing you like that? You don't, until they are along side of you. Nicky leaned on Hopper, I don't think it was either racers fault. It was just a 'racing accident.'

Also, I'm sure Hopper is good enough that he doesn't need you or me telling him how he could have trailbraked more and taken the corner better. :laughing6

you have me wrong.... yes its a "Racing Accident"

Thats my whole point about the "See someone untill they are along side you"
Thats why I dont think its Nicky's fault.

I don't think Hopper needed to charge in like that is my "Fn Opinion" an im not telling him how to race. That just how I would have Done it.

I think the situation could have been avoided. I can easily be wrong on the best way to have handled the situation.

Last...... Of course I know how important a holeshot is to a race. In many ways it determines the race. Today could have been totally different if this accident didn't happen. I am just disapointed in the race today. I can't wait till next year.
