Well...just got home. 12 hours...! Brandon, DannyBoy, and me finished the ride that was originally supposed to be a two hour adventure. We set out with 7 of us, rain knocked out 1, then after circling Lake Livingston and waiting out a traffic accident, we lost 3 more. Then, after passing Lake Conroe, the remaining three pushed on and completed the forest ride.

NEVER GIVE UP!!:icon_smil:laughing6:icon_smil:laughing6

P.S. Who would have thought Lake Livingston and Conroe were part of the forest loop?:confused1

Thank you everyone who showed up it was nice to meet some new people and see some faces from before. We had a good time despite the rain at the beginning of the ride.

Next time no rain!

I was looking for you man! So as we left the gas station this BLACK R6 just like the one in your picture comes down 242 right as we pull out. The dude was wearing nothing but a wife beater/helmet. The bike looked familiar and he kinda seemed to look like you as well. So I caught up to him at a light and asked his name and he said 'Andy'. I was like AH NVM.

Well as BJ said our 2-3 hour ride turned into a 12 hour event. I mapped it out but apparently didnt save the right link. Anyway it ended up being about 250 miles to where we ended. The last leg of the trip back through the forest and down 362 was awesome. No rain the entire way.

Thank you guys for allowing me to lead the trip.

Everyone, If Brandon plans another ride you better plan on going. He does a great job. Great trip planning, waits for all the group to catch up, doesn't run away and leave you, etc, etc. Just an all around great guy and good trip planner. I sure enjoyed all the great company and hope we ride together again.

Glad you guys had a good one.

Clyde and I were supposed to go this morning but we cancelled at the last minute due to the rain.:BangHead:

We got out this evening though, did about 150 miles, got back in just a bit ago.

It will definitely depend on the weather. Spending several hours to clean your bike is a PITA. Any motorcycle shops offer a bike clean/detail service? Because after an hour or so of cleaning every nook and cranny wishing I had a lift of some sort I tend to clean less each time. I wouldn't mind taking my bike in for a once a month cleaning/detailing if the price is right.

Often we'll wash them for free after you've had a major service performed.

However we do just detail bikes, price depends on how bad the bike is. Bring it by and I'll give you a quote.
