07/22 - NW/Forest Ride

Meeting time: 7:30am
Kickstands Up: 8:00am
Where: NW/Forest
Length: 100 miles
Time: 2 1/2 hours
Pace: Speed Limit
Map: Map

Due to recent interest in the NW/Forest bikers I have mapped out a 3 hour ride with 2 or 3 stops inbetween. We will start at 242/I-45 there is a Cheveron on the West side of I-45. Meet there at 7:30-8:00am. We will leave at 8:00am and head west on 242.

The first planned stop will be King's Diner at 105 and 149 this is about 45 minutes from our start. We will stop again in New Waverly (never been in that area but we'll stop to regroup if needed). After that we will continue to ride east and then head south down to 242 and then west back to where we began and break from there.

If I am leading I will stop at every turn/stop and wait for the back, however I ride slow so no one should get left behind.

How does this sound to everyone? Any preferences or changes?

Who's with me?

The route has changed for this ride. I went to explore the last leg of the route that I had mapped and it didn't look good at all. So I have updated the map to roads that I know are good. People who live south can break off when we get to 290 and 362 or continue on - whichever.

This sounds like fun. I will try and wake up, but I can't promise I will though sometimes I sleep right through my alarm. I will give you a call in the morning if I am coming.
