That's why you are suppose to back your truck up to the edge of the driveway(or any sloped surface) so you don't have such of a difference in height.

Uh huh... And what do you do in a packed paddock at the track?

I'd like you to take the time and review your advice with the following scenarios. Flat tire, accident, stranded on the side of the freeway, how about a track day,or and any other circumstances where your nifty Idea doesn't apply...

I have one of these (split the cost with someone and gave him the second ramp). $95 for the pair right now, and 20% off coupons are out there.

Then call AAA. I don't have all the answers to a cheap ramp because the real solution would be to have a low trailer.
No body ever told me to do the slope thing and when I saw someone do it I thought it was pretty smart. I was merely trying to show a way to use a cheap 65$ ramp.
But please be my guest and buy a trailer with multiple tie downs, because, what if 2 bikes hit the deer? Or a car pulls out on 3 bikes? Or the tire on the trailer gets a nail in it. Or decides to make it flood, maybe you'll need a boat!
So story here is buy a boat!

These would be better. The arch should reduce the chance of dragging. $110 for the pair.
