WTF!! This is down the Street from me!

Couple found dead in Fort Bend County home
(7/19/07 - FORT BEND COUNTY, TX) - Fort Bend County sheriff's deputies are investigating the death of a husband and wife in the Mission Bend subdivision.

It happened along Arista Drive and Sinaloa Drive last night. Investigators tell us a relative went to the house and found the bodies of a married couple. They were shot to death. But the reason behind the shooting is unknown.

"It doesn't appear any forced entry was made into the residence," said Terriann Carlson with the Fort Bend Co. Sheriff's Department. "Currently right now there's no suspect information to release."

The couple has children. Their ages and whether they were home at the time is unknown.

I know! Man this is really scary. I never go down that way to get out of my neighborhood. If I go home tonight, I will pass by it to see what house it was.

Oh lord! There has just been so much going on in my neighborhood in the last two/three years or so. It used to be quiet, and it still is for the most part. :eh:

Every neighborhood is like that every once in a while. Mine is quiet for the most part, but we have our own police department. Every once in a while something happens though. I remember last year (maybe 2 years ago) they found a body inthe water. A couple months ago some drunk tried running from the cops and swam acrossone of the canals :laughing6 I guess he thought they wouldn'tbe able to drive to the next street. They were waiting for him on the other side

Thing is we get a monthly newsletter here. If you do something wrong and the police become involved in they print your name and what you did in the newletter and sometimes your address.

I always hear of Mission Bend getting worse and worse. Hopefully Pearland stays good for a long while. . . I like it here.

Pearland isn't that good. I was on a jury a couple of years ago. Some local gang members broke into the house of a known drug dealer, here in town, and shot him in the face. It was a .22 cal so he wasn't bad hurt but we sent the leader to prison for 20.
I just hope he learns something besides how to be a better criminal while he's there.

wow that's crazy. Sad, i hope the kids are ok.

You just aren't really 100% safe anywhere. Unless you live in a gated community, then there's more control of who goes in and out of that community. I miss living in one

Mission Bend isn't extremely bad. it's mostly burglaries/home invasions that are most common, unfortunately and kids doing graffiti. Luckily in our subdivision they caught the kids that were doing the graffiti and vandalizing the park and arrested them. Now you have to have a key to get into the park area and they have cameras surrounding the club house, pool, and park area. I don't live in Mission Bend, but close enough to hear about everything that goes on.
